The What... The Why... The How

Oh my goodness.... I am so tired! haha!

The What.... We have moved from our wonderful little condo in the back of Ahwatukee to a new condo.....not so far back in Ahwatukee.
(If there are a lot of typos I apologize ahead of time!) I loved me neighbor in my foothills condo she truley became one of my best friends(haha, I make it sound so sad however we are only 5 minutes from eachother! But hey when you are hankering for a really good peanut butter choco chip cookie 5 minutes is forever away!)

The Why..... Our beloved dog Riggins(AKA Piggy Riggy) Has been getting notices sent home saying he is a Pitbull(We know this and have known it since we moved in there... no big shocker) The thing is we don't know who started complaining(We take very good care of our pets... always leashed, pick up after them, dog park....yadayada yada..........)We had several other people in the complex offer to go and give testimonials on Riggins behalf...He really is a great animal..... Anyways the office started to send notices that Riggins needed to be removed from the property.... after the 3rd one we started looking for a place... I mean my goodness I wasnt going to give up my dog.

The How.......... We were very blessed.... We found another condo that excepts Riggins as is.... so that way no one can complaiun and Riggins can be free to have a good time with whom ever he chooses in his new home.....
So we got the place last Wednesday and started moving.... the cleaning people our coming tomorrow and then we will hand over the keys... ***big sigh***
Nathans brother Eric came and helped over the weekend... I dont think I could have survived the move without his help! So we packed and moved all within 5 days..... and now the unpacking and organizing starts..... any takers for help? LOL!

I have my hands on interview tomorrow morning and we are so hoping I get this position...4.5 minutes from home..... crossing my fingers.....

AH!

This last week has been crazy.... Kassidi stayed a couple of days... on day 2 I was opening a bottle of chocolate milk for her(with my teeth).... I know I know.... (having had a bonded front tooth since I was 11 I know better) Sure enough the lil bugger popped right off.

Nate called a dentist he cleans for and he got me right in..... and I started to tell him my story...or better the story of my front teeth.... from hitting them when I was 11...getting them bonded and a puplotomy(kids root canal) to my frenectomy and a year in a half in braces to close my gap...... to a couple of years ago when I was hit in the mouth by an ab lounge that recoiled. The trip to the ER and to see the dentist I was currently working for...who rebonded them for the second time to getting my gingivectomy(gum removal to elongate the teeth).... and then to December of 08 when once again the bonding came of at Christmas (I am a little vain about my teeth and it drives me nuts that they aren't right) To the current moment with the chocolate milk. Kassidi stood crying thinking it was her fault/ I assured her it wasnt... my teeth and I have a long history...... I told Dr. Arnes which teeth up front were dead and needed root canals and which werent....my goals for my teeth(dreaming big as I only know how to do.) He looked in my mouth and said you don't have a choice for the rootcanal on #8(I cringed inside, I know all about them...working in dental offices for 6 years... I have explained them, talked people into getting them...comforted people about them.... I just wasn't ready for it to be my turn.) I have the Novocaine shots in the front of my mouth or on the palette they hurt the worst so I opted out of it and said just do it... Nate said" Are you sure?" I replied "yes they are dead so I will feel a little pressure and maybe a little tenderness thats all." (it might have hurt a little worse then I thought it would..... going back... get the Novocaine next time)

Here I was expecting one root canal and he did 2...Grrr. I left with my front tooth in half still and formaldehyde up inside of it to kill any infection...tasty.
Kassidi was a champ, she didnt complain when I told her I had to go back to the dentist first thing in the morning for him to finish everything.
so 8 am rolled in...got me back finished the root canals(a little more tender at that point, but still refused to get a shot.) He rebonded my front tooth filled in the one next to it and called it happy...... On Friday I woke up and told Nathan my mouth hurt really bad.... but I took some ibuprofen and it went away.... the infection came back.... UGH! so I sucked it up all weekend(mostly cause I am a red head and I was mad.....punished only myself) slept all day Sunday and called DR.Arnes office first thing Monday.... got an antibiotic.... and now we are happy again.....
Moral of the story... Get Novocaine the first time around....

July......

I am a little behind of posting..its been a crazy month. To start off July we went to see my dad in New Mexico and ended up going Alamosa(I was born there) its three hours North of Albuquerque into Colorado. My Grandma has lived in the same house since my dad was little. I always love going there...its home! My dad really wanted to take Nathan fishing... so we went to the lake most days and hung out. I really enjoyed spening most of my time with my little brother...he is so much fun, and we look so much alike...its no wonder we bonded right away. I got to see my last living greatgrandmother, she is such a sweet woman, Her name is Tillie. It was a relaxing get away. The Sunday before we headed home we went back to New Mexico and BBQ at my Uncle Steves. I got to spend a little time with my sister(however she is 16 , has a boyfriend...and doesnt think hanging out with her sister is all that fun anymore.) Nathan and I went to the Albuquerque Temple on th way outta town it was a nice start home.

Since we have been home, we found MAx a new home(he really needed a backyard) We miss him and tried very hard to make him happy with us. I think Riggins is happy Max is gone...he gets aall the attention now.
We have been marketing the buisness like crazy... so that has kept us occupied through the rest of July....

Oh the joy of Max.....

Max really is a good dog... he has a few issues...but wouldnt you after spending the first 2 years of your life chained out doors with very llttle attention? he has a great personality for having no formal traning and he has taken to being in the house really well..... he whines when its time to go out... and he just wants to be with you all the time, he follows me from room to room and cries when nathan or I leave the house...even if the other person stay home.At Maxs old home when he broke the chain he was attached to and my uncle couldnt afford a new one right away they would put him in a kennel for days and let him out to go potty...
When we took Max in I had asked for the kennel, thinking Max would need it at night to sleep(so we wouldn't have any potty issues or issues with our other dogs,) and when we left the house for a few hours(so he wouldnt destroy anything).
Well Nate and I went to the mall for a few hours on a Saturday and put max in the kennel and the other two in th ekitchen(like always) and had a great time, we even planned to go out that night to th Dbacks game/Lifehouse concert(Nate loves the Dbacks and I love Lifehouse) perfect date......

Well when we got home Max had snapped the plastic lining to the bottom of his kennel(still haven't figured out how...the plastic tray fir perfect in the bottom of the wire kennel) and had ate a hole in my carpet down to the concrete(luckily Nates friend Mike can repair it...so its no big thing! Thank you Mike) We were both just glad he didnt hurt himself again trying to get out(we did not need another vet bill)
Nate and I did not go out that night(cause what would we do with Max?) and for the next week and a half Max went everywhere with us...to family things...running errands with me....you name it Max was there, luckily he is a great car dog... you might be thinking well why not buy one of those heavy duty plastic kennels that are closed in....cause the day I was going to go buy one of those to try and spen 150 dollars I was talking to my little sister Kassidi on the phone and she sent me pictures of one Max had ate when they had left him in it a few years ago.....yeah so....

last night I went to a job with Nathan just to spend some time with him(I miss him when he works long days) So, I decided to put away all my most precious things and leave Max out to roam(with the bedrooms shut and the bathroom and blocked from the other dogs...he did great and I was gone for 3 and a half hours!
