I hope....

Everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! We did. The day started out by going to Nathans parents house in Buckeye. His ssister was driving in from California for the weekend. We only stayed until about 2 and then we drove out to my parents in East Mesa. We ate dinner with them and watched the game. Kassidi came home with us.. we love having her she makes life interesting. On Saturday we are going back to Nathans Familys house to make Tamales.

Brief update.... Nathan is in his busy season right now and is working dawn til dusk. I am working for a chiropractor and loving it. I am taking my first CE course next week... I will be able to do hot and cold stome massage, I am really excited. Other than that December shouldn't be to exciting! work work work. I don't know if the dr I am working for will keep me on once the other girl comes back from her surgery.... If not its okay I would like to get a job closer to home... and not drive out east everyday.

Thats all for now.. The Kassidi is wanting to go do something fun.....hmmmmm how to entertain a 10 year old....

November.......

This is such a great month to reflect upon the past year and realize.... all the stuggles and craziness are worth it. I am thankful for Nathan who is a strong person when I need it most. I am thankful for my dogs...they drive me crazy however I love all of them. I am thankful for family...............

Now on to the borning updates
Nathan is busy working, I started my job with a chiropractor...its a temp position and its for 6 weeks. The hours are good and I love working only monday thru friday. The day spa I was hired at turned out to be extremely lame. I was all set to start work and realized they had never gone over pay or hours with me.... I asked them to sit down and talk to me and was avoided, so I called and no one called back for 2 days and then they wanted to sit down and talk....hmmmmmm interesting.

Nathans sister Kim will be here for Thanksgiving, I think we are going to make Tamales that saturday. We are going to spend thanksgiving at home by ourselves this year. and who knows about christmas.... I get stressed having to divide the time so we haven't made a decision yet.

I love the weather... I am thankful for goose down comforters... I know Nathan is because I sleep with the windows open and some nights he thinks he ill freeze!

Surviving...

I don't even think a little diet Dr pepper with some caffeine could help me right this moment. This last week has been crazy. Riggins is home from the vet.... yay! However this means sleeping downstairs and getting up with him every two hours to monitor him when he uses the bathroom. Nathan has been fantastic though, he gets up with him all night long... someday he will make a great daddy! Riggins is starting to eat more... Thank goodness. However right this moment he won't eat anything besides boiled chicken.

I got a job... something I wasn't actively pursuing, however here i am. I will be working at the Healing Arts day Spa in Chandler/Mesa. Exciting I know. I went to the first staff meeting last night. I really like the owners, they just have something about them. It will be good for me to use my craft more. I am once again excited about the learning I can continue to recieve... there are so many different areas I want to get certified in.

Lets see what else... my grandma is still in the hospital, don't know when she will be getting out.

Other than that I will find out more of my work schedule today...... luckily they din't have sunday hours!

Riggins

Nathan and i were talking about when we first brought Riggins home... he was so freaking cute and then he turned into this huge beast...LOL! I would take the beast back in a heart beat... I miss him and all of his naughty ways!

Riggins... Aka Piggy Riggy

It was a tough day yesterday... Riggins started not feeling well two nights ago. We thought he ate a bad bug(He eats everything). Yesterday morning he started throwing up. i went to the store later in the day and got him some gatorade a a piece of chicken to boil. I had to take him to the vet... he has parvo. He will be with the vet until monday.. we are hoping he will pull through.... we bleached everything and are hoping the others don't get it.... so far so good.

October Happenings....

i love the month of October... the weather is getting cooler.. .which means my AC bill is going down and I LOVE Halloween. It is my favorite Holiday. We usually go over to my Uncles house. Nathan takes my sister Kassidi and some of the other cousins(brave man it generally is 3 to 4 little girls) around by himself. Well i sit at the house with my mom and pass out candy and generally we make the kids work for it... they have to show us a trick and impress us to get the candy.
Lets see what else our monthly family dinner with Nathans family is this Saturday that is always a nice time. I need to start working on Christmas presents... cause go figure I am trying to make everything...LOL! if you know me you know I am not crafty. So I apologize ahead of time! I am going to start working at the two home Depot stores we are assigned to, that will be an adventure... I am going in to work out all the kinks so hopefully we can get an employee in there within the next few months! I have been answering our business line for almost a week, thanks to all the customers who are so patient with me! LOL! and Thank you Nathan for trusting me! So if you want me you have to call Nathans phone and if you want him you have to call mine.... I know its all crazy.
We are working on training the dogs, stimulating there minds more... the pit bulls need it, so we are walking them and making them walk on the treadmill. Dexter did REALLY well for it being his first time last night! Riggins now gets on it with no leash! YAY! We are working with the Yorkies on barking when someone comes to the door. So far they do okay... its just all repetition.
For the rest of the day i am running around... to the hospital, grocery shopping and the bank. That's if i get off the computer... which doesn't seem to be happening. I am so tired yesterday Nathans first job was at 630...EW! Who schedule that...oh yeah me! luckily he had a short day he was done by 2. Today his first job was at 730... he did that to himself. and today might be a little longer. My Grandma is on the phone so i better go check on her!!!

Just Breathe

I don't ever really just take the time to show how grateful I am. Right now I am feeling so blessed. It is so nice to know that even when I am imperfect, God still loves me and answers my prayers. I am thankful that I have Nathan who is slot stronger than I am in certain areas and he allows me to lean on him when I need to and use his faith as my own. I am grateful that he is a hard worker and loves what he does.

I just wanted to sit down and and share that i know of my Heavenly Fathers love for each of us and i know that if I strive for the good things life has to offer it will be mine. I am so thankful for the Atonement and that it allows me to be imperfect and it makes me want to live so that my life reflects how I want to be.

Mesa Temple

On Friday Nathan only had one job in the morning so we went to lunch and then to walk around the Temple. It was a lot of fun. Nathan had never seen The Testaments, so we asked if we could watch it and they set it up. he loved it as did I. It was really nice to go and walk around, it helped remind us of our goals. This week is going to be exciting! LOL! We are going to New mexico to see my dad, just a quick trip. We are thankful for my in laws who are watching the little yorkies while we go!!

Patio

Nathan and I are renting a house for 6 more months! The patio wasn't very well taken care of in the backyard so we decided to stain it! It looks really pink in the pictures but it isn't that bad, and the rocks have the same color and the house has a tinge of pink. here are the pictures of how it turned out

INK!!!!! EW!

So one once upon a time.... Nathan and I were taking a nap and Riggins decided he wasn't tired. he found a pen and started to chew on it. On my over stuffed chair in the living room.....GRRR! Well Nathan and I went downstairs and not realizing he sat in the chair smearing the ink on th cushion and the arm. After cleaning the ink off his leg. He went to his van and got his spot extracter and his ink remover he uses for work! Wahooo, no more ink on my chair! This stuff works so well!

Rainstorms...and furniture

SO I got bees yesterday and painted all my furniture black... it made me VERY happy. Well I started with our sofa table which our TV sits on. and I painted it on the carpet... witha sheet under it. Against my husbands better judgemnet, although I swore I would not get any on the carpet.... a few spots, pretty good for me! He was impressed and its a good thing he can clean my carpet. Anyways, when Nathan got home from work yestrday he moved my coffee table outside for me to paint... where us the trust! LOL! I painted the top and then made dinner, after that I told him you better mover the table back in I think it will rain, he said are you sure. He moved it in and within 30 minutes it started pouring. I love the rain, I love to get wet. So I opened the front door and ran out. Nathan followed so we played in the rain for a while. After we came back in a dried off I finished painting the coffee table and my two huge mirrors.
I am so thankful for Nathan and I am so blessed to be married to such a guy who will go play with me in the rain, he is my best friend.

Today his friend from Tucson is here, and I got my yorkies groomed today! So cute! I will take pics and post them, tomorrow he works... and Sunday church. So we have a very exciting weekend planned! LOL!

Memories..........

I am going through my boxes... finally and getting rid of a lot of stuff. i can be a bit of a pack rat at times! Last night I came across some pictures so I thought I would post it.

When I was 16 I met the most amazing 3 people ever. We all had different personalities but we always had a great time together. Some nights we just drove around, others there was always a savers or a walgreens, we wore crazy red lip stick.
We named ourselves the Odd Quad, the only number for us was 23, it was always grr baby grrr or Oh Billy. We were Bambi(The not so nice one), Barnubus(The Cool Confident One), Mildred(The Sweet Hot One) and Ginger "Snap"(The Sassy Fierery One).

I miss hanging out with theses girls! I love them all and I am thankful that they touched my lives! Now we are all grown up and Mildred has two beautiful children... Barnubus is a teacher and happily married, Bambi is a Massage Therapist.... and Ginger passed away.....always in my heart never forgotten!

Just was thinking about things this morning.........

Birthday.....

Yesterday was my birthday... it started off really nice, Nate let me sleep in just a little...Then I got up showered and put on my new shirt that he got me, it has the #82 on the back... Nathan took the day off to be with me.

After we got around we went and picked up my grandma, it is her birthday too. Her and I always got to lunch together. The funny thing is she was born on a friday the 13th and so was I. We went to Olive Garden, that has become our bi weekly restraunt to go to together. We had a lot of fun. Nathan got to her the story of how I was concieved, when she knew my mom was pregnant and my life up to this point. We then went back to her house and opened gifts. She made me a pillow for my reading chair and some dish towels... I love them so way cute! We got her some plates that are really light weight so they will be easy for her to use and we also got her a oven that fits on her countertop, because her normal oven just broke. The smaller one will be better though because it won't heat up her house like the big one and she only cooks for her and her roommate. Then we sat and talked I sprayed water all over Nathan because he kept trying to go to sleep.

After we came home abd watched a movie relaxed, Nathan asked where I wanted to go for dinner but I dodn;t want to get ready, so I ended up with peter Piper Pizza...yummy Carbs! It was a great day!

I love sharing my birthday with my Grandma, she is an amazing lady. Over the course of my 26 years I have lived with her off and on... I am thankful for her and I hope to share many more lunches with her.

I also got from my brother in law..... Nathan had made a big mess in my living room.... and Eric cleaned it up for me! Thank You Eric!

Dexter....AKA Big Sexy

so when we got our new puppy, we were trying out names... ya know just letting it come to us... so for the first couple of days we tried out CoJack(Connor Jackson on the DBacks... caus esometimes you have to get up there and just feel a little sessy)
Anyways, so AKA Big sexy was going to be his nickname no matter what.

So on the third day we were in the living room and he grabbed the book Dexter off of the TV tray... so jokingly I started calling him that and sure enough he responded immediatly and comes now whenever you call him. So he named himself. He is so fun and SO exhausting, I was done getting uo in the middle of the night ofr potty breaks..... And he loves me if I leave the room he howls.... and when he has to go out I have to go with him or trick him. When he gets tired he wants to snuggle in..... He is alot of fun.
Dexter is a Pitbull also. Him and Riggins have become fast friends... maybe now Riggins will stop dragging my lil lincoln around with the rope toy.... he can pick on someone his own size... well makybe oneday.....

New Mexico and Then Some...........

We had a blasy going to my Dads for a weekend.... My brother is so cute and for a 7 year old really kind. We took our Pit Riggins and one night I asked Joseph if he wanted to dtop for icecream and he said yes. Well as we got closer he asked where is Riggins going to be while we get the ice cream. I told him he will be in the car that he would be alright for a few minutes. Joseph then said to me just get me a chocolate icecream and I will wait here with him so he doesn't get lonely... so cute!!

We got back and have just been busy,busy. We got a puppy.... I know we need a two legged baby..... LOL! I will post some pictures of our trip.... and the puppy soon

No Sleep For The Wicked........

This past week has been crazy........ For some reason I haven't been able to sleep... and mind you when I usually sleep I wake up all night long. Welll this week has been different.... I am exhausted all day and then when 8:30-9:00pm rolls around I am wide awake until 3 or 4am and I still wake up once or twice. poor Nathan has been a good sport he stays up with me and watches movies, and he gets up at 730am most mornings(i am a good sport too, I get up when he does.) I am so tired. I have even beem taking sleeping pills at about midnight. I don't drink caffine anymore... i don't know whats going on... any suggestions?

July

I love this time of year in Arizona... I even love the heat.

July 4th is Nathans favorite Holiday(so I try really hard not to make plans with anybody so Nathan can have his day.) We are buying a Barbeque Grill tonight. I am excited, I love to grill and try new recipes. Baseball is also on the menu for tomorrow. I am excited to spend a nice relaxing day with him. and Eric of course.

On the 5th we have our monthly family dinner with his parents (something I also enjoy alot, they are more normal than my family.) We are having it at our house this month so we can order the Ramapge Vs Forrest fight. I am making chicken enchiladas and chile verde....yummy.

In a few weeks we are going to seemy dad, i have not seen my sister and brother in over a year( I am trying to grow that relationship...my dad is diffucult at times, and me being a red head I am VERY stubborn.) I am way excited for that. My sister Ramey is 15... and my brother Joseph just turned 7 in May. They don't ssem that old to me.

I was hoping to get up to Denver to see my sister Raechel(she is 20), however it doesn't look likeI will. She is one of my best friends and since she moved back up there I miss her so much.

Other than that hopefully July will go by smoothly and then August in another adventure... My mother in laws birthday , My/My grandmas birthday and Disneyland!

Reading

I have always loved to read. I just haven't in awhile, so after reading Twilight it made me thirst t read. So I am being very adventurous and I got War and Peace. Wish me luck!

Twilight

SO I finally went down to the book store(yesterday) and purchased Twilight and New Moon. I have heard so much about them that I finally had to feed my curiosity. Loved the first two, finished the 2nd one about 15 minutes ago. I have to go get the car washed.... so I will be dropping by the book store for the 3rd one shortly. However August 2nd seems to far away for the 4th.

This Last Week...

I am happy it is over. I don't think I can take much more.LOL!

The week started out good.... Nathan has been really busy at work and I am finally getting everything in order around the house.
Tuesday I drove clear out to Buckeye for an appointment.... just to find out they had moved it to the morning I showed up at 1:30pm. Then I tried to stop and visit someone and wasn't aloud to. Through out all of this I was really calm, which is huge because I tend to stress and get mad.
Wednesday I got up early, got ready and went to visit that person again. Only this time I had to go back to my car to get some info and locked my keys in still running. I almost started to cry... and no one would help me. My phone and my purse were also in the car. So I had no money and no way of getting a hold of Nathan. Well finally after I did cry someone let me use there cell phone, I was in a parking garage in Phoenix, probably not the safest place... anyways, so he had just started his job so he told me he would be there when he was done. Well I thought I can feel sorry for myself or I can go visit my riend and Nathan will get here when he can. Well It was also my sisters birthday and she turned 10, which is crazy because to me she is still a baby. So by the time Nathan got there and him and I talked we had to run around for this friend which meant I couldn't go to kassidis party. I called she understood as long as I bring her a gift this weekend.
Well at around 5 o'clock I get a phone call from my Grandma(My Moms Mom) and she asks if my mom has called me, I tell her no and I am in the middle of something so I will have to call her back, she then tells me Rosanna Something really tragic has happened. That stopped me and I asked her to go on. (Let me back up just a tad.... My parents are building a house out on the base of superstition Mountain. Right now hey are living in a garage apartment... which is really nice. anyways there is a flight of stairs to go up to the there place, and for the past year it has had no rails... and its about 10 feet down.)
Anyways my Moms Dads wife(Lupita) was visiting from California she is 63 and in very good health. Well she was looking out my parents big picture windows at the amazing view when she lost her balance, my mom tried to grabbed her but missed, she fell down the hole and hit a few steps the landed on the bottom. She had 2 big gashes in he head and her nose was bleeding, she stayed awake the whole time. The flight lifted her to Scottsdale Memorial Hospital because that's the closest trauma center. Amazingly she has bruised ribs, knee,bruises on her back and chest, she had to get stitches on her head and she fractured her wrist. It is just so crazy that she wasn't more seriously injured.She was truly blessed.

Thursday my Brother In Law Eric moved in with us. I guess me finally getting everything cleaned up was just in time. He is going to be working for Nathan and saving some money. i am so excited to have him here and I know it will be good for all of us.

Friday has started off pretty well...LOL! This weekend Nathan has a few jobs tomorrow and then who knows.... hopefully quiet and relaxing!

Memorial Weekend

Nathan decided he needed to get away... and when he needs that I benefit from it! We went up to Flagstaff and spent Saturday and Sunday. We had a blast. Nathans fantastic parents took the two yorkies. So we decided to see how Riggins would do. We walked around downtown Flag. I was honestly amazed at how many people cam up to Riggins and wanted to love on him. Being the big mean pit bull that he is..... LOL! We took Riggins out into the forest and let him run, he does really well at staying by us at all times.

On Monday we went to Sedona. I love that place. We walked Riggens around there too. He got to go in Three Dogs Bakery and get a specialty treat. We found out while we were up North that poor Riggins is allergic to wheat, so he is now on a wheat free diet.


Its been a long week. I am ready for this weekend. We are going to go to the movies and just have a nice relaxing weekend

3 Years...and 30

Yesterday was our 3 year anniversary.... its crazy to think we have been together that long. I had a fantastic day. We got up and went to breakfast at Craker Barrel, One of Nathans Favorite restraunts. Then we drove up to Scottsdale Fashion Square to go to Fossil. i wanted to get Nathan a new watch. He suprised me by getting me a watch and some sunglasses(I am obssesed with sunglasses.) We came home and watched a movie and lounged around until about 6, We then got all dressed up and went to Dnavans Steakhouse.... It was so good. I now know why people like to eat at those restraunts they cater to your every need, including valet service. We had, yummy bread, Cesar Salad, Bacon Wrapped Scallops, Nathan had Fillet Minon with garlic smashed potatoes and veggies and I had New York Strip with garlic smashed potatoes and veggies and most of it came home with me. Then they surprised us with a strawberry creme brulee as an anniversary treat. We had a fantastic time just being together the whole day.



Nathan also turned 30 yesterday... he is still adjusting to that. All day he kept saying I am really not this old.... haha!



The last couple of weeks have been really tough. My grandpa fell and broke his hip, and my grandma who is a dyalisis patient has been in and out of the hospital for a blood infection. Its been alot of running around. My Aunt had her baby Boy on Monday, he is too cute. I think they named him Ryan. Thats all thats new in our home for now.

Weeks....

I haven't posted in forever. We have been crazy people for the last month.

In April we went to Logan for a week, it was cold and the hotel was horrible. We took all three dogs.... fun stuff. By Wednesday I had enough of them so I took the Yorkies to get neutered. I know its strange however it gave me a day away to go shopping. Plus, They were really calm for the duration of the trip and the drive home.
We went through Manti on the the trip home, I have always said that is where I wanted to get sealed. Nathan had never been there and he always thought I would give in and get sealed in the Mesa Temple. Well once he was there he understood why I love this Temple, there is just something about it. So when we get sealed we will be going to Manti. Hopefully it will be within the next year and a half.
On the way back we stopped in Vegas... My dad and his wife were there celebrating their 21st wedding anniversary. I haven't seen or talked to my dad in a year so it was nice to catch up a little. What I should tell you at this part is we left on a Saturday morning(the trip is about 12hrs...but when you have dogs that have to pee it turns into 14hours, and the medicine the vet gave the Yorkies gave them the runs.....so when they started whining we had to stop.) Nathan was supposed to set the alarm for 4:45am because I wanted to leave early and get home at a decent time, well I woke up at 7am and I asked Nathan why the alarm didn;t go off, He said it must have died. So we left way later than I wanted to. About a week ago we were laying in bed and he turned to me and said I shut my phone off on purpose when we were in Logan, He said he was just to tired and wanted a little bit more sleep. GRR!

Other than that Buisness is going really well, We are just organizing the office. I made Nathans new invoice which hopefully will be printed soon.
Our 3rd Anniversary is in a week, Nathan says he has something planned but won't tell me...... he doen't usually do anything like this so it should be fun.

It feels like April ran away from me this year.... However I did come up with new perspectives in my life... right now I am all about Change!

Almost 2 years ago....

I was putting our ab lounge away... and I didn't take out on of the elastic straps so it sprung back and hit me in the mouth...... lets back up a little I had just been out of braces for a little less than a year and I was crazy about my teeth. I was working for a dentist at the time.... he was a jerk... anyways he gave me antibiotic but never did the root canal on my front tooth, so far I have been very lucky that it hasnt got infected, I quit working at the dental office in order to finish Massage School. Well tonight at 3:55 I woke up and my face is swollen and hurts like no other. I feel like someone is punching me in the face. :uckily we have Dental insurance.... we just signed up fpr Medical and Dental last month....great plan Major Medical and Dental for both of us its like 180 a month. Anyway I am just up and hurting waiting for a dentist to open, I know of one on Ray and Rural, I worked for him a while ago and I think he will call me in an antibiotic to knock out the infection, and get it taken care of once and for all.... I will need 2 root canals and 6 crowns to get it all complete. Yay me!

Recovering.......

Its been a week or so since I have updated the blog.... we have been so busy lately. We got moved.... most of our stuff is still in the garage...Nathan had the flu all through the move. I came down with it the day we moved. not fun. However we did make it through. I am happy to be in Ahwatukee, its better on gas for Nathans van and I like how accessible everything is.

Since we moved we have been recovering from the flu and then last weekend we went and painted my grandmas living room and dining room areas... it was hard work, we finshed about 145 in the morning. She loved the colors(a peach color on an accent walll and a very pale yellow on the walls)

I am supposed to be unpacking along with a whole list of other things that I am not in the mood for. Last night we took the dogs for a walk around the neighborhood, they did really well considering we never walk them.

I am trying to come up with some ideas for my in laws 40th wedding anniversay gift... any ideas???

1) I hate doing dishes and laundry. I think they are the worst household chores in the world.I don't mind doing anything else

2) I drive with no shoes on. I hate shoes as it is , when I am driving I get a little claustrophobic. Most of the time I wear flip flops... when my dog doesn't eat them.

3) I hate my face being touched, don't know why, it just drives me crazy... and not in a good way

4) I love music, my ipod is in my purse all the time and I am constantly updating my music.... I am trying to talk Nathan into getting me the biggest one.

5)I won't eat the first 2 slices of bread out of the bag.... at any time. so if there are only 2 slices left I am out of luck. I love dill pickles and one of my favorite things to eat is mustard and saltine crackers.

Its Time.....

To move again, We got the house in Ahwatukee and will be moving in there around the first! I am looking forward to not moving again for awhile!

Valentines Day..........

Best One Yet!


Nathan and I headed out around 6:30am and got down to Puerto Penasco around 10. The drive was nice we caught little traffice, however at on point we did get stuck behind a truck who was painting the road stripes.
We got across the border and were heading through town when yes Nathen was pulled over. He wasn't going to much over the speed limit. Well we apologized and he said I have to give you a ticket come with me to the police station and Nathan told him No, I don't have time for that and the officer looked really surprised. Well he eneded up letting us go without paying a fine....yay!

When we got down to the beach the tide was low.... Rocky Point was a little cold and windy, So Nathan and I walked around and we wound up with a lot of really interesting seashells. We went to lunch a restraunt called The Reef. It was really good. Nathan had theReef Shrimp and it was plated all crazy I will post pictures soon. I had Steak Fajitas, Yummy! After that we went back to the beach and walked around, collected more seashells, saw a baby crab.... and then layed on a blanket and talked. Nathan had bought me a book I have been wanting to read so he read me the first chapter, it was way awesome.
After that we went to dinner at The Point which when you sit outside you are over the ocean, It was really windy and cold but I wanted to sit outside with the view. There was this Seagull who wouldn't leave us alone it was crazy. We go to the point everytime we go down there for the Shrimp Chimichangas, they are so good. Nathan who doesn't like chimichangas loves these.
After dinner we got some icecream and drove home. The border was nice there was no wait. You do from this point on have to have a passport or a birth certificate to go down there along with a drivers license. We didn't know this so they let us through. it took the same amount of time to get home.

I just enjoyed yesterday so much, Nathan and I have really good conversations. He makes me laugh. There is no one who could undertsand me the way he does and I am just so grateful for him.

One of Nathan and Mines Favorite places to be is in Rocky Point. We go as often as we can... which is about every 6 months.... a day on the beach... no dogs and the best part our cell phones won't work down there.

The other day I told Nathan lets do something fun this year for Valentines Day. He said ok lets go to Puerto Penasco... I told him you have jobs on Thursday so he called them and rescheduled so we are headed out of town first thing in the morning.

I am so excited! I love being down there I had never been to the Ocean before I married Nathan and the first time he took me down there I got really sick..... yes the ice cubes our still made of water... i spent three days throwing up, Then I had to come home and do midterms for school not a good time.

Anyways, Love the Ocean, Love just being able to escape.

We are moving.... haha!

We wanted to rent in Ahwatukee however when we were looking in August we just couldn't find really anything so we rented a home on the other side of the mountain.

Nathan and I started praying about what to do... because if anyone knows him.... he won't rest until its exactly what he wants. So we never stopped looking in Ahwatukee. We came upon a really nice home.... so we started to pray and ask what we should do.

Welll our house that we live in now the owner is in foreclosure, so we found out last week we have to move out as soon as possible and we get our full deposit back and our rent for this month.

We put in the application for the other home, if all goes well we will be moving into that home within a few weeks. Or maybe god has a different plan for us..... we are set to sail whatever course we need to.

I am just so thankful that prayers are answered and that when you put yourself out there and if its what you really need it will be given to you.


I have been interviewing the past few weeks.... I have had a lot of offers but none that fit. I am going to an interview today at 3pm which when we move to Ahwatukee it will be 10 minutes away... hopefully I get this one and I hope it fits.

Update

The last week has been uneventful. Nathan has been busy with work and I have been busy with interviews, I am being really picky on where I want to work, if at all. I really want to do my own thing with massage and see where that leads.
Last weekend Nathan went the the Superbowl pregame party(his dad won tickets) He said it was fun however a lot of people were there, I was supposed to hang out with his mom and let her teach me some things on my sewing machine, however I wasn't feeling to well.... lately that has been the story of my life. Now the Doctors want to put me on a medication i don't want to be on so I am torn and a little stressed about the whole thing.
However Nathans parents do a once a month family dinner so I did drive out for that on Saturday night... if I hadn't Nathan would have been trapped.LOL! It was nice. Nathans brother Eric and his girlfriend we're there. We are still adjusting to him having a girlfriend. Going out there is always so relaxing. Sunday we missed church because I slept horrible. My parents invited us out to there house to watch the super bowl, I thought I was dying so we stayed home. I thought it was such a good game I like both teams however I was happy for Eli Manning.
Nathan has been so helpful this last week with cleaning, I haven't done much of anything except sleep and complain.

For the rest of the week Nates busy working, hopefully I feel better without any medication and Kassidi is coming over on saturday to hang out.... she is so much fun.

Yesterday and the Day Before......

The past couple of days have been hard. Some may call me crazy about how I am with my animals. I chose to have them so I take care of them. Its really is as simple as that.

My cat Ji de had an appointment to get spayed. I would never have done this but when she is in heat it drives us nuts. Tuesday i woke up late which is rare because the dogs generally have have me up by 6:45-7. I got up at 730 and had to get Ji De down to the clinic by 8. We got dow there and there was a lot of people ion the waiting room.... fun dogs and cats.I fiilled out the paperwork.... this is where it all goes wrong. Eventually we meet with the vet tech and the vet for an exam. They didn't find anything so Nathan and I went home. I was feeling guilty any kind of surgery is just icky.

We could go and get her between 4 and 5 pm. We were down there right at 4. Nathan was on a phone call so I went in they gave me her pain meds told me the price and I said Thats fine(my mistake). I got Ji de and walked to the car... feeling worse because she was so out of it. I drove and Nathan asked how much it was so I told him and he said thats not right so he looked at the bill and they had charged us for a pregnancy. He called them.(lets back up a minute She is an indoor kitty only.... sometimes she gets to go into the backyard supervised..... how this happened we still don;t know.) and the girl on the phone said oh she was pregnant. Nathan asked her why she didn't tell us this when we picked her up and she said most people don't want to know. Me already feeling bad for taking her in for surgery started crying. Nathan asked to talk to the doctor who wasn;t there of course. So we went back down there...... they missed it durning the exam... it was an accident however they shouldn't have missed it. and if we had known we never would have done it(mind you I don't want kittens.....) the girl said the doctor would call us the next day... never happened. So Nate is going to call today. And` yesterday she was still so out of it, until about midnight then she started to act more like herself.

During all of this "fun" on Tuesday I got on the Az Massage Board Website and My license went through... yay!!! Way excited and just thankful for it to be done. I have my first interview on Friday morning!!!

I Kinda Like Him.....

The past two days I have gone to a few jobs with Nathan. One was a beautiful empty house in Tapestry Canyon, and the other was just to drive him to Queen Creek. He is really good at was he does and always tries to make sure he leaves the home perfect. I have gotten to know a different side of him. Which I think we all have at work.. I tend to be way more organized when I am at an office then when I am home. He is just thoughtful. Sometimes I am not as patient as I should be with him. Its fun driving around and laughing with him, I always know how to make things a little bit more interesting. I am just so thankful for him and how many blessing I have come upon because he is in my life. He always tries to give me what I want... and I need to think about him more.


Other than that it was a pretty boring week, I bought a lot of fabric at JoAnns thinking I am going to be creative soon. This weekend we are going to see my grandma out in East Mesa and who knows maybe I will clean the upstairs..... haha! I need to get my car cleaned too.

It looks like we are pushing our Utah trip back a few months. I am really excited to go so Nathan wants to be able to spend some time in Salt Lake as well as Logan.

I have dishes to do before Nathan gets home. I want to know how to make my blog all cute. Anyone??

The Last Few Years

May'05-Oct '05- We lived with Nathans roomate... that was fun

Oct'05-Aug'06- We lived in a 1 bedroom Apartment....We got a Yorkie puppy in December(Buddha) In January i started Massage School, Celebrated our 1 year anniversary.

Aug'06-Aug'07- Lived in a two bedroom apartment. Got a pair of siamese kittens for my Bday(Zhong Shi and Ji De) October got another Yorkie(Lincoln). In Febuary '07 Nathan was rebaptized... it was amazing. Celebrated our 2nd anniversary. Finished Massage School.


Aug'07-January'08- Moved to our rental home... Zhong Shi ran away. We took over our carpet cleaning buisness in October(Chemdry By Mr.Finicky 480 759 2122), Nathan is really good at it and enjoys what he does. We got a little pit puppy name Riggins.... we call him three three for short.He is almost three months and has grown like a weed. He out weighs both of my yorkies already. I am awaiting my massage license should be here any day. We are looking forward to going to Utah next month(Febuary) for a class Nathan needs for the buisness. and hopefully instead of critters we might have a baby within the next few years. We are hoping to buy a house in the Ahwatukee area within the next year and a half.

We are loving life and have been so blessed. I wouldn't be where I am without Nathan today. We are looking forward to our future....... This is Year 3!

The When and How

In January of '05 I got on LDS Mingle to find some friends my age(As I was coming out of a long relationship and wasn't looking for a boyfriend.)
On The 17th (This is how nathan tells it) I came across a profile that caught my eye and I sent him a "wink" That said "Your Hot!" ( I think he sent it to me first.)
We began to email eachother and decided we should meet up. On the 21st we met at Red Robin(I made my sister Raechel come with me just in case he was crazy) and then we went to see In Good Company. From there we emailed back and forth. On our second date which was only a few days later I told him we would get married he laughed and said I don't think so. (He had also come out of a long relationship.)

We continued to date through Febuary and March. We loved going to the park and reading a Tale of Two Cities together. Towards the middle of April we decided to take some time apart.
I was going out of town with some friends so on my way up North I stopped by his apartment(looking all good) and gave him some of his stuff back. He asked if he could call me and I replied If I answer I answer. He did call and I did answer.

On May 7th I was at his house getting ready to go to dinner when he looked at me and said I want to marry you. I said Ok. We talked to his roomate at the time because I would have to move in there once we got married he was okay with it.

I was working at Lowes and Nathan was at Home Depot at the time and he had the 13-15th off, so we decided on the 13th(which is also Nathans Birthday.)

I had to work that morning so we were planning on going to the Justice of the Peace after I got off. Well I left early and got home at 12. Our ceremony was at 4. We arrived at the courthouse at 3... I thought that the Scottsdale courthouse would have a place to get our license..... no they didn't. the closest place was Mesa. It was the begining of rushhour. Nathan was upset because I didn't check it before and was like we aren't getting married today... I said yes we are get in the car.It was 3:30 when we started driving to Mesa. I got us there be 3:45(don't ask how) driving the speed limit. And yes traffic was horrible. When we got to the Courthouse in Mesa we were the 5th people in line to get the license... I told Nathan to start bribing people..he didn't but we had a good laugh.The line went really fast and I called the courthouse in Scottsdale and they said if you are here by 4:45 we can still marry you today. It was 4:20 when we left Mesa. Traffic was worse. I got us there by 4:45... We got married and spent the weekend at the Grand Canyon. It was beautiful.
