My turn.....wahahaha wahahahaha.........

So this is my first attempt at "blogging" on here and im thumbing away on my droid 2 so we shall see how that goes. Im Nate the other half and im just gonna write some stuff! Who im writing to I have no idea and why I am doing it well im bored and in bed not sleeping. So we shall see how long I can go. Today was the start of conference weekend and watching Saturday Conference is kinda of a interesting subject in the mormon culture in itself. Alot of "opinions" about that im sure but we wont go there right now. Feel free to comment below. Its was good to hear the prophets voices and enjoy the quiet time with my wife. Like most everyone else saturdays aren't always free. We ate lunch and then the second session and then I went to the Priesthood sesh with my Pops which was pretty cool. We've only done that for the last year and a half and its nice to be there with him. Father and son thing I guess. The lasting impression I got from this experience was it was good to feel like I was in the right place and the right time. Pops has been pretty banged up of late and with mom not 100% anymore its really taking a toll on them. I couldn't have any better examples that those two. Thanks for coming over today pop.

The Stafford family since the last blog has done some noteworthy things. But ill let rosanna update all that. Lol. Im really just glad my wife and I are still learning how to love eachother and choose eachother continually each day. The ChemDry business has slowly but surely been picking back up and the "hard economy" is now finally softening up. 2010 was much better than 09, and its looking better going into the holidays. I really do love what I do. Working for myself, providing a service for my community, its simple and gives me what I want in a career. Personally we've been a few places since last blog....out of africa.....SoCal acouple timers. And rosanna's dads is next on the list for Thanksgiving. I've always liked going there. They have alwas made me feel welcome. The only real "hobby" I can think of that we have started is that we've really got into food storage as of late. Its been fun if that's not to weird sounding. It saves a ton on the food budget too. Exciting right!! Anyone? So im done for now let's see how this one goes and maybe ill stop and do this again sometime.

OMG! I finally updated our blog! LOL!

We have been busy with work and just life. We went to cali to visit Nates sister Kim and to be shown around where nates parents grew up... we had a lot of fun, we got to spend a day at disneyland we lasted from 8am to 10pm.... it was our first time going since we have been married... here are a few pics from that trip...

Learning to let go... Seeing where I really need to be... what I really should be doing...coming to understand the plan God has for my life and allowing it to take place....
No longer controlling the things in my life I am afraid to let happen... letting the ones who love me inside and seeing who I am...

Allowing new oppurtunites to come into my life...staring my journey for the first time today...

Disneyland

We are going to Cali at the end of this month.... so excited.... travel around the LA area and see some sites... I have never really been there...

One thing I wanted was to go to Disneyland..... I didnt think we would have time or the money... however.... with the GIve a Day Get a Day... here we come!
On Thursday we will be giving a day to a Head Start in PHoenix organizing there storeroom... 7 hours for 1 ticket....yeah baby! Nate will be there with me so that makes it even better!

It just has got me thinking that in my life I need to give more service and there are tons of places that need help... One day a Month I am going to give my time.... it will be fun. For the next year its my goal....

Whats in Your Rearview Mirror?

A lot has happened over the last few months.....
1)We moved.... again.... after having only live in our apartment for a month and a half neighbor killed himself and we had to help with the aftermath... it was rough and I had a hard time sleeping.... same apartment complex... different apartment.
2)My Fantastic MIL was Dx with stage 4 stomach cancer... that was rough news to get.... she is fighting and we are all praying for a miracle...
3)Thanksgiving was good.... we spent that Wednesday with Nathans family and thanksgiving day with mine....
4)Christmas was good.... lol... spent that with Nathans family...
5)New Years was spent with my side of the family....
6)Nathan and I have known each other officially for 5 years as of January 17th
7)We had to find Riggins a home.... long story and I cried a lot...
8)The business is doing good(Last year was a little rough)
9)we are hoping to get our act together so we can go through the temple within the next year... maybe two depending on how somethings work out

Tender Mercies

Nathan and I were laying in bed getting ready to read the scriptures when we started talking about how we could better serve one another and bring in an added measure of the Spirit to our home. (As we have been reading the Book of Mormon at night I have been also going through the student manuel that has awesome quotes and helps to explain things....) A thought came to me about the Tender Mercies of the Lord, I immediatly looked up the scripture Nephi 1:20 and the quote by Elder Bednar, I read them both out loud to Nathan and we knew that we needed to have this Christ like attribute in our home.
As we sat in sacrament meeting on Sunday a woman got up and beared her testimony on the Tender Mercies of the Lord and I was in awe of how when I am on the right path and going in the direction I should the Lord testifies through others the things which I seek in my heart.

It really is in the small things that mean the most...kind words..... understanding...serving...etc. I am really excited to focus on having Tender Mercies for Nathan. I know through patient, love and guidence from my Heavenly Father I will be a better wife and also gain a deep appreciation for the the Tender Mercies the Lord has for me!
